This week, since I am working at a camp, I’m sending a link to an interesting article, Things You Can Give Up In Order To Become a Happier Person. The five items identified may come as a surprise. For those who don’t go the to link, the 5 items to give up to become happier are, blaming, needing to impress, being a victim, feeling entitled, and pretending. Try giving up one of these in a situation in which you usually embrace this attitude or behavior. For example instead of blaming, take some responsibility and look for your part when you get into an argument with a family member. What do you notice? It may be awkward, and what else?
