Group and Individual Mentor Coaching

Group Mentor CoachingGroup Mentor Coaching will be available via Zoom this spring.

Are you looking to

  • Develop your coaching skills?
  • Earn or renew your ACC credential?
  • Acquire 7 Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs) whether you’re a PCC or ACC?

If your answer to any of these is yes, then Group Mentor Coaching may be the right option for you.

Monica Leggett, PCC and I will facilitate a group of up to 8 coach mentees via Zoom.  We will meet on 5 consecutive Wednesdays, October 2 – October 30, 8:30 – 10 am Eastern. Monica, like me, is a Certified Mentor Coach and a Past President of the ICF-Connecticut chapter; we each have over 12 years of experience coaching clients.  In addition to group mentor coaching each of us offers individual mentor coaching.

What will you get out of Group Mentor Coaching?

  • A deeper understanding of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) 8 Core Competencies of Coaching*.
  • 7 hours of core competency Coach Continuing Education Units (CCEUs) for ICF credential renewal.
  • The 7 hours go toward the 10 hours of mentorship of your ACC credential. The additional 3 hours will need to be individual mentoring. You can contact Dina or Monica to arrange your individual  mentor sessions.
  • Preparation to submit a recorded coaching session(s) for evaluation for your ICF credential if it is required.
  • An opportunity to coach and be coached in a small group and receive immediate feedback, suggestions and encouragement to grow your coaching skills.
  • A refreshed approach to your coaching. Past participants have expressed renewed appreciation for the core competencies and that they have developed new insights to improve their impact with clients.
  • You’ll have mentor/colleagues you can ask questions and who will support your development

Prior to the first session, participants will be provided with several hand-outs and tools related to ICF Core Competencies, PCC markers, tips and best practices. Session one will focus on getting to know one another, review of the program and an overview of the core competencies. The following 4 sessions will include a brief discussion related to core competencies and live coaching followed by feedback with recommendations.

The live coaching pairs will be be set up at the beginning of the program.  Each person will know when they will be the coach and when they will be the client.  When you are a client, please be sure to come with an actual issue for which you would like to have coaching.
